Amazing food, nice atmosphere, good service and friendly owner! We love Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food and this was probably the best we've had so far. Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Foule, Muhammara, Chicken Biryani, Pistachio Baklava... We will certainly return. Also make sure to try the lamb chops and moussaka - delicious!

I was introduced to this restaurant by my social group. I love international food & was looking forward to the meal. I was not disappointed. Everything I tried was delicious & well presented. The service was excellent even though there was only 1 server. I can't wait to go back again.
The cuisine is a Mediterranean fusion with the popular dishes from various cultures. I love the Musakhan Pizza and must say that it was very well made. The sampler was an excellent combination. The hearth oven bread is different from your usual terrible and stiff pitta. Every item I ordered was flavorful and delicious. They can do better on the variety of tea and hot water for the tea.
What a gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the artwork is beautiful. We got the sampler appetizer, all four of the dips were delicious. I had the citrus chicken soup. It was perfect. Definitely check out the artwork.
Rawa is a gem in Westville, New Haven neighborhood. The staff is always so kind and they have a great rotating selection of cocktails and mocktails. Their dishes (which have many options for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian) have so much flavor and quality olive oil with the right amount of subtle spices. Our favorites are the baba ghanouj, the tabbouleh, and any of the biryani dishes. If you save room for dessert, the baklava is absolutely to die for.
One of the very best Middle Eastern restaurants in all of New Haven! Interior is spacious and well-organized. Portions are large, and the food is fabulous. Great wine selection too. This place is a Westville must. I can't wait to return! The rice and lamb kofta is my favorite.
